Who?
IFLAC is a premier language institution established in the year 2007 to promote the learning of foreign languages along with cultural enrichment.
The institution was founded by Ms. Sandy Mirpuri, an alumnus of the John Hopkins University of Rome/Italy and Ms. Umita Melwani, Diploma superior in Business Spanish from the university of A’leala, Madrid, Spain.
Both of them have travelled and lived in Europe and bring with them a passion for foreign languages and a quest for learning that goes well beyond the class room and results in the personal enrichment of the student.
What?!
IFLAC integrates the guidelines laid down by the European Council in the “Common Framework of References for Languages (CEFR), into the organization of its courses.
Six different levels have been defined and these have become widely accepted as the international standard for language competences.
The four competences of the Language i.e, understanding written tests, understanding the spoken language, writing and speaking are all taught.
There is an added emphasis on developing conversation skills. At all levels you will develop a knowledge of grammar and vocabulary, as well as study the sounds and written forms of the words.
A variety of tests and audio visual material is used to familiarize you with the language as well as the European society of today.
The final objective of learning at IFLAC is to equip the students with both Language and cultural know-how for complete personal enrichment.
