At IFLAC, the regular French language courses are offered as per the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages: Learning, Teaching and Assessment, abbreviated as CEFR. In addition there are special syllabus oriented courses designed for those who are pursuing French in I and II PUC
French Level 1 – Beginners Diploma A1
Designed for complete beginners, the emphasis of this level is to introduce the students to the basic structure, phonetics and grammar of the French Language.
Course Objective
The principal objective is for complete beginners to reach the A1 level. At this level you will be able to:
Introduce yourself and other people
Ask for and give someone personal information
Express likes and dislikes, talk about your activities and hobbies
Talk about your city name and locate a place, give your impressions, understand and explain a simple itinerary
Write a small letter , postal or email
Talk about the weather, your job and make / accept / turn down invitations
This course at IFLAC is designed especially for those students who are studying French in the I PUC and the contents of the course are in accordance with the PUC syllabus.
It is designed as a year round course to enable the student to acquire and revise the contents of the language as per the requirements of the PUC Board. Specially customized classes where in the days and timings are chosen by the students can be created for groups of 8 or more students.
A series of tests, mid- term exams and mock finals are also included in the course to enable the student to be ready for the exams.
II PUC French Syllabus Course
This course at IFLAC is designed especially for those students who are studying French in the I PUC and the contents of the course are in accordance with the PUC syllabus.
It is designed as a year round course to enable the student to acquire and revise the contents of the language as per the requirements of the PUC Board. Specially customized classes where in the days and timings are chosen by the students can be created for groups of 8 or more students.
A series of tests, mid- term exams and mock finals are also included in the course to enable the student to be ready for the Final Board exams.
I PUC French Examination Course
An intensive six week course to prepare the students for the final exam. It includes an overview of the contents and some practice exercises. A special emphasis is placed on oral practice as well.
II PUC French Examination Course
An intensive six week course to prepare the student for the II PUC Board exam. The course includes a revision of all the grammar , vocabulary and culture contents. In addition to that it also includes several mock papers to prepare the student for the exam.
