Mandarin
The IFLAC Mandarin courses align with the objectives of the HSK examinations. The Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi is a standardised test to check the proficiency level of foreigners. It now has 9 levels: HSK 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9. Currently, we offer only three levels:1, 2, and 3. If you are looking for a higher level, please write to us with your specific requirements.

We recommend HSK 1 if you are just exploring the language.

Why Mandarin?
1. Work in a Global Environment
China is the second most populous country and is now widely regarded as a superpower in the world. Since the entire population speaks Mandarin, knowing the language is vital for handling business transactions effortlessly.
China has become an economic powerhouse today and has made great strides in becoming more open to foreigners.
China has become an economic powerhouse today and has made great strides in becoming more open to foreigners.
2. Large and Robust Economy
China has the second largest economy in the world, and there is an increasing demand for professionals with Mandarin language skills. Both MNC and Indian companies look for employees with a good level of the language. Because of the massive growth of the Chinese economy, its language is thought to be the language of the future.
3. Improve Your Calligraphy Skills
Chinese characters are logographic, which means they represent words or ideas rather than alphabets and letters. Creating these characters requires a steady hand and is likened to making brush strokes. Mandarin is a great option if you are artistically inclined and would like to improve your calligraphy or drawing skills.
4. Stimulates your brain
The Mandarin language is fascinatingly complex and uses characters to represent words or ideas instead of alphabets. It helps you to expand your mind and develop different parts of the brain. While English speakers use the left temporal lobe, Mandarin speakers use both! This makes Mandarin learners better at prioritising tasks and working on multiple projects at the same time.
5. Experience a whole new culture and history
Learning an Asian language opens up your perspective to a whole new culture and entertainment realm. Many Asian cultures have also been around for a long time, so learning their language gives us more access and fresh perspective to their histories and traditions that existed parallel to South Asia.
